Business: To test the market feasibility of the aforementioned Playsuit Reinvented (Ready-To-Play Wear), I launched a Kickstarter Campaign late in 2015. The pocket-riddled, functionality fueled design raised over $30,000 from 400+ enthusiastic backers.
I built the campaign while working full time at an Advertising Agency. To ensure the campaign's success, I consulted experts in crowdfunding and looked to hacking articles by top brands like SOMA water. Post Kickstarter was 6 months of manufacturing, navigating the world of customer support, fulfilling orders, and troubleshooting. It was quite the experience!
The design was featured on the front cover of The SF Chronicle, The Huffington Post, and W Magazine, to name a few.
